DIGITAL DRESS PROJECT Highlights

The Digital Dress Project, offers a selection from collections at Wayne State University, The Henry Ford, Detroit Historical Museums and Meadowbrook Hall online. At a broad level, clothing reflects the culture and the time period of the wearer. At a personal level, clothing choices also communicate much about who we are and what we want to project about ourselves. Much can be learned about societies and individuals by examining the way clothing was made and what people wore.
