CEET Update

Last summer, Taylor Library received a generous grant from the Fontbonne Community Connection to help us purchase mixed-reality hardware and software for the Center of Educational and Emerging Technology (now located on the second floor of the library). After several months of exploration and research, we have ordered a zSpace Lab, an eight-pack of ClassVR headsets, a Ricoh Theta 360-degree camera, and lots of software to inspire all kinds of learning experiences for you and your students. Look for set up and an invitation to play sometime next spring.

Three Ways to Support Fontbonne Students and OER

You don't have to switch to an Open Access textbook to support Open Education and make a difference for our students.

  1. Put a copy (or copies) of texts on Reserve at the library.
  2. Teach from a text rather than a specific edition (i.e., don't update your text with every new version and let students know they can use an older book).
  3. Add OER's to a syllabus as optional or recommended reading.
