The students behind the Griffin Roar have launched an ongoing series that explores Fontbonne's rich student-publication history. From the Roar:

The Griffin Roar is pleased to announce the launch of a new feature for our publication: The Roaring 20s, where we will regularly feature examples of past Fontbonne student publications. In doing so we pay respect to the past and tie it into Fontbonne’s future.

We've been evaluating our print holdings for more than a year now, and the effort is really paying off. The project has enabled us to streamline the collection and remove several sections of old shelving. Next time you're in the library, head upstairs and check out a new art installation by student Reem Alharbi. You'll also find an out-of-the-way study space tucked away in the stacks.

Both are located on the west side of the building behind the stairs.

Join the Fontbonne Community for a low-pressure Summer Reading Challenge! Read 6 books between June 3 and Aug 2 and send us tweetable (280-character) reviews. Taylor Library will be offering prizes and surprises as well as opportunities to share and interact with other participants.
