Dietetics, Food Science, & Nutrition : Citing in APA

Importance of Citation

Each academic discipline has its own citation style as the discipline prioritizes what is important to their scholars. For example, in the social sciences and sciences, having the most current information is vital to practitioners so that they can make the best decisions in a clinical or educational environment. Be sure you include all relevant information about your sources when citing, including the title of the work, author, date, publication and page numbers if applicable.
