Fontbonne University alumni are welcome and encouraged to utilize their borrowing privileges. A valid alumni card and a current driver’s license or other state identification are needed to check out items from the Fontbonne University Library. An alumni card can be obtained by contacting the Alumni/Development Office. The loan period and renewals are the same as for current students.
These resources are accessible to anyone in the library or at any computer on the Fontbonne University campus that is connected to the University’s network. However, due to software licenses, remote access to all electronic resources is available only to current Fontbonne University faculty, staff, and students.
A faculty member achieves emeritus status by following the procedures in the latest Fontbonne Policy Manual, v. 4.
Fontbonne University emeritus faculty are automatically entered into the library database as emeritus faculty with the same borrowing privileges as other faculty.
Fontbonne University emeritus faculty who have chosen to retain a university network account will have remote access to some library subscription resources. Emeritus Faculty who do not retain their account will not have access to library resources. Please contact IT if you have questions or run into an access issue. Policies and procedures on maintaining a university account are available in the latest Fontbonne Policy Manual, v. 2.
Taylor Library welcomes alumni, campus visitors, and members of the community outside Fontbonne to use the guest computers located in the cafe. Printing is not available.
There is a WiFi network available for guest use. The password is available at the front desk.
Guests can check in at the front desk to be logged in to these computers when they are not in use.
